Merchant's
Townhouse
This grand historic Townhouse facing the Charleston harbor was built in 1782 by a seafaring British Merchant. The project consisted of a combination of new construction and historic renovation. A new kitchen hyphen was designed connecting the original main house to its dependency and garden. The dependency, formerly a separate dwelling, was restored and converted to casual family living space overlooking the walled garden beyond.
